About our organization The Moscow youth public organization "Marom" is a community of conservative judaism . It unites public, religious, sports and educational activity. Members of the organization take part in the jewish life of the City; public youth programs together with the Center for Interethnic Cooperation (ethno-clubs, round-table discussions, press-conferences); "Marom" own projects - the project of the jewish self-identity via sport (self-defence, close fight and acting in extreme cases; fitness; touring club); the Family Club picnics; public and religious programs; Jewish festivals.

5773 On November 9 the Moscow Jewish community “Marom” organized a discussion on the history of anti-Semitism and roots of racism. The discussion began with the opening speech about the Chrystal Night and what it has started, pray for the Holocaust victims, and continued as the discussion on the history of anti-Semitism in Soviet Union and ended up on a situation in today’s Russia with its anti-migration attitudes. This discussion was organized as a part of UNITED for Intercultural Action European-wide campaign.
On September 21, 2012 the Marom community celebrated Rosh ha-Shana. 5772 July 22 - August 5, 2012 the Marom community Touring Club took a trip to the countries of former Yugoslavia - Serbia, Montenegro and Croatia.
On May 6, 2012 the Marom community celebrated Lag ba-Omer in Dedovsk Moscow region.
On April 8th 2012 the Marom Community celebrated Peaskh in MEOD.
March 23-25 2012 the Marom Community team performed a new Purimspiel at the "Purimspiel" festival in Vitebsk, Belarus.
On March 11th 2012 the Marom Community team performed a new Purimspiel in MEOD.
On February 12th 2012 the Marom Community celebrated Tu bi-Shewat. The program consisted of a lecture on the history and traditions of this holiday by Alexander Sinelnikov plus a quiz on a holiday topic from Anatili Vorobiev.
January 4-10 2012 the Marom Community Touring Club took a trip to Turkey visiting Ankara, Istanbul, Gereme.
On December 25th 2011 the Marom Community celebrated Chanukah plus 10 years of its official existence. The program consisted of "Live Chanukkia" and a quiz from the guests from the Center of Biblical Studies of RHSU.
On October 9th 2011 the Marom Community celebrated Fall Holidays.
On Septenber 18th 2011 the Marom Community Touring Club took a trip to Vladimir region.
On September 11th 2011 the Marom Community Touring Club attended an exhibition of Russian Railways in Scherbinka Moscow region.
July 24 - August 9 2011 the Marom Community Touring Club took a trip to Hungary and Austria.
On July 3rd 2011 the Marom Community Family Club picnic took place in Dedovsk Moscow region.
June 12-13 2011 the Marom Community Tourong Club took a trip to Paraslavl-Zalesskij and Rostov Velikij.
On May 22nd 2011 the Marom Community celebrated Lag ba-Omer in Dedovsk, Moscow region.
On April 24th 2011 the Marom Community Seder Pesakh took place. The Seder was led by the Severnaja Community Rabbi Aron Baginski.
On March 27th 2011 the finalizing "Marom" Community Family Club lecture took place. The lecture "How Historical is the Bible?"
was read by Leonid Dreyer - a lecturer within the Center of Biblical Studies of RHSU.
On March 27th 2011 the Marom Community Family Club attended a photo exhibition "Cuba in Revolution".
On March 20th 2011 the Marom Community Family Club celebrated Purim with a lecture from Alexandre Sinelnikov "Every Fairytale Has
a Part of... Fairytale".
January 20-25 2011 regarding Tu bi-Shewat, the Marom Community organized a photography contest of winter trees. 98 Pictures were sent to the contest in total from 16 participants. On January 25th the professional jury finalized the contest. 8 Best pictures will be printed and given to different Jewish organizations in Russia and in Israel.

On January 22nd 2011 the Marom Community Family Club visited a personal exhibition of one of community members, Ilya Osin.
January 3-8 2011 the Marom Community Family Club took a trip to the Baltic Region visiting the towns of Tallinn, Tartu, Pjarnu
and Saaremaa island.
On December 26th 2010 the "Marom" Community Family Club lecture took place. The lecture "How to Become Lucky in the Upcoming
Year - part 2" was read by Alexandre Stepaniuk.
On December 19th 2010 the "Marom" Community Family Club lecture took place. The lecture "An Essay on the Daily Life of Ancient
Israel" was read by Leonid Dreyer - a lecturer within the Center of Biblical Studies of RHSU.
On December 11th 2010 the "Marom" Community Family Club lecture took place. The lecture "Miracles aree not happen. Jewish
Phylosophers on Prophecies and Miracles" was read by Sophia Kopelyan - a lecturer within the Center of Biblical Studies of RHSU.
On December 8th the new season of teh English-Speaking Club had started.
In the evening of December 5th 2010 the Marom Community celebrated Chanukah.
On December 5th 2010 the Marom Community Family Club attended the exhibition "Jews in Moscow: History, Culture, Traditions.

On November 14th 2010 the "Marom" Community Family Club lecture took place. The lecture "The Ethnic Myphology of the Ancient
Israel" was read by Leonid Dreyer - a lecturer within the Center of Biblical Studies of RHSU.
On Octobet 10th 2010 the Marom Community Family Club took a trip to the Serpukhov Region visiting the towns of Serpukhov and
Chekhov.
On September 26th 2010 the "Marom" Community celebrated Sukkot at a country house near Moscow.
On September 24th the Theatral Group of the "Marom" Community performed a new play "Two Stories" in "Severnaja" Community. The play was written and directed by Maria Kopelyan and dedicated to the High Holidays.
On September 19th 2010 the third outdoor lecture in the frameworks of the "Marom" Community Family Club project took place. The
lecture "How to become Lucky in the New Year" was read by Alexander Stepaniuk.

On May 23d 2010 a Marom Community Family Club excursion at "Lenins' Mountains" took place.
May 3-9 2010 the Marom Community Family Club went to a trip on Western Ukraine. We visited: Lviv, Sambir, Drogobych, Srtyj,
Chertkov, Buchach.
On April 18th 2010 the "Marom" Community Family Club lecture took place. The lecture "Tune Your Brain On Genius" was read by
Alexander Stepaniuk.
On April 11th 2010 the "Marom" Community Family Club lecture took place. The lecture "Conflict Free Communication. Is It Possible?"
was read by psychologist Boris Kuliabin.
On April 4th 2010 the Marom community celebrated Pesakh. We are grateful to KEROOR for matza and to MEOD for in kind premises.
On April 2nd 2010 the Marom community team "MOSCOW-MAROM" performed Purimspiel in Moscow at NEZER premises.
March 12-14 2010 the Marom community team "MOSCOW-MAROM" participated in "Purimspiel" festival in Vitebsk, Belarus.
Main performance.
On February 28th 2010 the Marom community celebrated Purim. The celebration also included lecture in the frameworks of a
project "Family Club-2010". A lecture-discussion was moderated by Alexander Sinelnikov with the theme "Divorce as a home
revolution".
On February 14th 2010 the Marom community Family club paerticipated in "Ski Day" in Romashkovo, Moscow region.
January 3-7 2010 the Marom community Family club together with Touring club went to Velikie Luki, Pushkinskie Gory, Pskov, Izborsk, Pechery, Porkhov, Ivangorod, Narva.
On December 12th 2009 the Marom community celebrated Chanukah.
On November 23rd 2009 the Marom community had a fifth indoor lecture in the project "Family Club-2009". A lecture-discussion
was moderated by Rabbi Alexander Feigin with the theme "The House of Jacob. Secrets of Jewish Family".
On November 4th 2009 the Marom community had a fourth indoor lecture in the project "Family Club-2009". A lecture-discussion
was moderated by Boris Kuliabin with the theme "Pretence by Freud. Group Analisys Against Family Problems".
On October 15th the Marom community celebrated Simhat Tora. The Marom Cinema-Club showed a musical "Dix Commandments".
On October 4th the Marom community celebrated Sukkot at the country house in Moscow Region.
On Septenber 30th 2009 the Marom community Family Club went to the Theatre on Malaya Bronnaya to the play "Jews of the
City of Peter".
On September 20th 2009 the Marom community had a lecture in the project "Family Club-2009". A lecture-practicum
dedicated to Rosh ha-Shana was moderated by Rabbi Aron Baginski and his wife Esther Baginskaja with the theme
"Rosh ha-Shana: A Happy and Sweet Table".

On August 30th 2009 the Marom community had a fourth outdoor lecture in the project "Family Club-2009". A lecture-discussion
was moderated by Alexander Stepaniuk with the theme "To Marry or not to Marry? Jewish Issues of Middle Age - Part Two.
Conflict Prevention".
On August 23rd 2009 the Marom community had a third outdoor lecture in the project "Family Club-2009". A lecture-discussion
was moderated by Alexander Stepaniuk with the theme "To Marry or not to Marry? Jewish Issues of Middle Age".
2nd-12th August 2009 the Marom community chairperson Maria Kopelyan represented the new community amateur theatre studio project at the Paideia Project Incubator in Stockholm, Sweden.
On July 12th 2009 the Marom community had a second outdoor lecture in the project "Family Club-2009". A lecture-discussion
was moderated by Vladimir Paley with the theme "Jewish Pedegree. Methods of Family Roots Searching". No pictures due to technical issues.
June 12th-14th 2009 the Marom community Touring-Club went hiking to Rybinsk, Tutaev, Yaroslavl.
On June 10th 2009 the Marom community Family Club went to the excursion "Russian and Jewish Artists in Moscow".
The tour was guided by Marina Landa.
On June 7th 2009 the Marom community had a first outdoor lecture in the project "Family Club-2009". A lecture-discussion
was moderated by Alexander Sinelnikov with the theme "Jewish Fate - What Is It?".
On May 31st 2009 the Marom community had a third indoor lecture in the project "Family Club-2009". A lecture-discussion
was moderated by Shimon Kutnovski from Moscow Kabbalah-Center with the theme "Kabbalah. The Thoroughly Kept Secret".
On May 29th the Marom community celebrated Shavuot during Shabbat.
On May 17th 2009 the Marom community celebrated Lad ba-Omer in Krasnogorsk Moscow region.
On May 11th 2009 the Marom community Family Club went to the Moscow Palace of Youth to the movie "Rock Wave".
On April 23rd 2009 the Marom community Family Club went on two exhibitions of modern art in the "Garazh" art gallery.
On April 12th 2009 the Marom community had a second indoor lecture in the project "Family Club-2009". A lecture-discussion
dedicated to Pesakh was moderated by Peter Greben with the theme "What is Pesakh and what is it eated with?".
March 27th-29th the MAROM-MOSCOW team participated in "Purimspiel" festival in Vitebsk, Belarus. The main show.
On March 22nd 2009 the Marom community Family Club went to the Theatre on Malaya Bronnaya to the play "I Am Not A
Rappaport".
On March 15th 2009 the Marom community had a first indoor lecture in the project "Family Club-2009". A lecture-discussion
dedicated to Purim was moderated by Alexandr Sinelnikov with the theme "Was Esther a Feminist?".
On March 1st 2009 the Marom community Family Club participated in Maslenitsa public festival with the motto
"Traditions of Life in a Multicultural Society".
On February 15th 2009 the Marom community Family Club went on an exhibition of the Union of Artists in the Central
House of Artists.
On February 11th 2009 the Marom community Family Club went on the Turner exhibition in the Pushkin Museum.
On January 22nd 2009 the Marom community Family Club went on an exhibition of the Section of artists of Monumental and
decoration Arts of the Moscow Union of Artists, devoted to the 55 anniversary of the section, passed in Moscow House
of Artists.
On January 18th 2009 the Marom community Family Club went to Rostov the Great.
On December 28th 2008 the Marom community celebrated Chanukah.
On November 30th - December 4th 2008 the international Youth Forum "Intercultural Dialogue and its Religious Dimension" took place in Kazan, Tatarstan. The leader of Marom community Maria Kopelyan took part in the work of the Forum.
On October 29th 2008 the opening of the new season of English-speaking Club took place.
On October 22nd and 23d 2008 the Marom community celebrated Simhat Torah with the opening of the new swason of Cinema Club. The movie "The Ten Commandments" (USA, 1956) had been watched.
On October 19th 2008 the Marom community celebrated Sukkot. We are grateful to the Moscow Choiral Synagogue for the sukkah.
